A tofu burrito is a simple and quick-to-prepare healthy vegan dish.
Originating from Mexico, a burrito traditionally consists of a wheat tortilla and a filling, usually containing beans and rice or meat. American versions of this dish additionally include lettuce, salsa, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole.
A tofu burrito is a dietary and meatless, yet equally delicious, version of this meal. Tofu is a low-calorie pressed curd obtained from soy milk and is a valuable source of high-quality plant protein.
