- Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash, peel, and grate the potato and carrot on a coarse grater. Place them in a bowl. Then add the egg, flour, and onion. Season with salt, curry, chilli, and smoked sweet paprika. Mix and rub thoroughly until combined.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Warm and spread small amounts of oil in the pan to fry several pancakes. Spoon out about 1 tablespoon of batter for each pancake. Flatten the top of the pancakes and fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the finished pancakes to a plate.
- Enjoy hot or cold.
