Homemade popcorn is a simple, inexpensive, and nutritious gluten-free fit snack. How to make popcorn in a pan? Discover a simple recipe for popcorn!

Popcorn, or roasted corn, is often considered an unhealthy and high-calorie snack. It's hard to disagree, but it's a different story with popcorn made at home. Store-bought popcorn is usually a source of large amounts of fat, salt, sugar, and many other artificial ingredients. It's definitely healthier and more diet-friendly to prepare this tasty snack at home.
Properly prepared roasted corn is a source of B vitamins, potassium, iron, selenium, zinc, magnesium, protein, antioxidants, and fiber. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that popcorn is gluten-free, so it can be safely consumed by people with food intolerance to this ingredient. Corn kernels significantly increase in volume when roasted, making them a satisfying snack. And because of this, as well as the nutrients they provide, they can sometimes replace a meal (especially during weight loss). The taste of popcorn can be enriched in many ways (from savory to sweet), for example with salt, herbs, grated cheese, cinnamon, or honey.
