Ingredients

  • 200 g Chicken wings with skin 3-4 medium pieces
  • 20 g Honey 1 tablespoon
  • 30 g Tomato paste 1 tablespoon
  • 20 g Calorie-free sweetener e.g., erythritol 2 tablespoons
  • 5 g Garlic 1 clove
  • 5 g Clarified butter 1 teaspoon
  • Tabasco
  • Smoked sweet paprika
  • Chilli

Method

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the sweetener and stir until dissolved.
  2. Then add peeled and pressed garlic, honey, and tomato paste. Season to taste with Tabasco, smoked sweet paprika, and chilli (adjust the amount of spices to your own preferences). Mix thoroughly.
  3. Put the cleaned wings into the saucepan and thoroughly coat in the prepared marinade. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge (you can skip marinating, but the taste of the wings will be less intense).
  4. Place the marinated wings on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (spread all the marinade from the saucepan on the wings). Put in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake until the wings are properly cooked and the skin is browned, about 25-30 minutes.
  5. Serve on a plate.
