Ingredients

  • 200 g Carrots 2 medium-sized
  • 5 g Olive oil or another type of oil 1 teaspoon
  • Sweet paprika
  • Hot paprika
  • Turmeric
  • Curry
  • Salt

Method

  1. Wash the carrots and peel them. Then cut them crosswise in half and slice them lengthwise, and then cut those slices into strips. In a bowl, combine the olive oil with a pinch of each spice: sweet paprika, hot paprika, turmeric, and curry. Mix well. Place the carrot pieces into the bowl with the prepared marinade and coat them thoroughly. Each carrot strip should be covered with the oil and spices mixture.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Spread the carrot strips evenly on the tray, making sure they don't overlap. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the strips and your desired level of doneness. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don't burn.
  3. Transfer to a plate and season with a pinch of salt.
