Ingredients for potato and carrot pancakes (about 5-8 pieces):
- Potato 1 small piece (80 g)
- Carrot 1 small piece (45 g)
- Chicken egg 1 small piece (50 g)
- Flour (e.g., wheat or rice) 3 tablespoons (30 g)
- Onion 1 small piece (30 g)
- Oil 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Salt
- Smoked sweet paprika
- Curry
- Chilli
Preparation of potato and carrot pancakes:
Step 1: Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash, peel, and grate the potato and carrot on a coarse grater. Place them in a bowl. Then add the egg, flour, and onion. Season with salt, curry, chilli, and smoked sweet paprika. Mix and rub thoroughly until combined.
Step 2: Heat a pan over medium heat. Warm and spread small amounts of oil in the pan to fry several pancakes. Spoon out about 1 tablespoon of batter for each pancake. Flatten the top of the pancakes and fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the finished pancakes to a plate.
Step 3: Enjoy hot or cold.
