Kogel-mogel with erythritol

Kogel-mogel is a simple and very nutritious fit dessert made from eggs. How to make a dietary kogel-mogel without sugar? Discover a simple fit recipe with sweet yolks!

Kogel-mogel (also called kogiel-mogiel) is a simple dessert made from raw egg yolks beaten with sugar (in our dietary recipe with a sweetener). It is likely of Jewish origin, but has long been popular in Polish cuisine.
It is a very quick and easy to prepare healthy egg snack.
Eggs are a great source of high-quality protein, which is easily assimilated by our body. Importantly, it is the yolk that contains more value than the protein of chicken eggs.
Erythritol (also called erytrol) is an organic chemical compound that is added to food as a sweetening substance. Its glycemic index is 0, making it also suitable for people with diabetes. Additionally, it protects the body from the action of free radicals and helps reduce the development of dental caries. Importantly, it is almost as sweet as sugar, and it contains no calories – making it a great choice during weight loss. Erythritol is considered a healthy sugar substitute. Unlike other sweeteners and sugars, erythritol is not metabolized by the body, but is excreted in its unchanged form.
