Ingredients for banana chocolate and nut ice cream:
- Banana 1 large piece (120 g)
- Peanut butter 1 tablespoon (20 g)
- Bitter cocoa 1 tablespoon (10 g)
- Dark chocolate 85% 2 cubes (10 g)
Preparation of banana chocolate and nut ice cream:
Step 1: Wash the banana, peel and cut into approximately 1 cm slices. It is worth using a very ripe banana in this recipe, which will be much sweeter. Place the slices on baking paper (keep spaces between each piece). Cover with a second sheet of baking paper. Put in the freezer for about 2 hours. If the banana slices are in the freezer for longer, they will freeze too much and it may be difficult to blend them.
Step 2: About 10 minutes before taking out the slices, melt the chocolate in a water bath, i.e. prepare two bowls – a larger and a smaller one. The smaller bowl should have only a slightly smaller diameter so that it can be placed in the larger one and the sides rest on the walls. Pour boiling water into the larger container, and in the smaller container, place the chocolate broken into smaller pieces (adjust the amount of water in such a way that it does not touch the bottom of the smaller container). Then put the smaller container into the larger container with hot water, so that the steam heats it. Stir the chocolate from time to time to melt it. Set aside to cool slightly.
Step 3: Place the frozen slices, peanut butter, cocoa, and melted chocolate in a blender. Blend into a smooth and uniform mass.
Step 4: Transfer to a convenient container.
