Ingredients
Method
- Wash, dry, and slice the tomato into fairly thick slices (remove the hard, green parts from the middle). Slice the cheese. Adjust the thickness so that there are as many cheese slices as tomato slices.

- MICROWAVE: Place the dish in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes (depending on the microwave's power). Remove when the tomato is soft and the cheese is slightly melted. OVEN: Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 20 minutes. Remove when the tomato is soft and the cheese is slightly melted.

- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and optionally sprinkle with fresh herbs.
