Fries are a delicacy loved all over the world, also by those on a diet. As with many other fast-food meals, the problem is only the method of preparation and the ingredients used, and above all their quantity.
Dietary pan-fried fries are delicious, healthy, and low in calories.
You can also prepare fries completely without oil. Heat a dry, non-stick pan and fry the cut potatoes on it. They will taste just as good, but bubbles will appear on them.

Ingredients for homemade pan-fried fries:
- Potato about 2-3 medium pieces (200 g)
- Sugar 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Olive oil 1 tablespoon (10 g)
- Salt
Preparation of homemade pan-fried fries:
Step 1: Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into slices. Then cut each slice into strips (fries).
Step 2: In a saucepan, boil water with the addition of sugar. Adjust the amount of water so that it covers all the potato strips. Put the cut potatoes into the boiling water and cook until medium soft, about 5-7 minutes (depending on the size of individual pieces).
Step 3: Remove the potatoes from the water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel.
Step 4: Heat the olive oil in a pan. After a moment, put in the potatoes. Fry until golden, about 5-10 minutes. Gently stir and turn the fries occasionally to evenly fry them on all sides.
Step 5: Transfer to a plate and season with salt to taste.
