Ingredients for goulash with turkey:
- Turkey tenderloin 1 medium piece (200 g)
- Red bell pepper 1/2 medium piece (80 g)
- Carrot 1 small piece (45 g)
- White onion 1 small piece (50 g)
- Tomato paste 1 tablespoon (15 g)
- Clarified butter 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bay leaf
- Allspice
- Smoked sweet paprika
- Water
Preparation of goulash with turkey:
Step 1: Wash and dice the bell pepper (remove inedible parts). Wash, peel, and grate the carrot on a medium grater. Peel and finely chop the onion.
Step 2: Clean the meat and cut it into smaller pieces.
Step 3: In a pot or deep frying pan, heat the butter. After a moment, add the onion. Fry for a few minutes, stirring frequently. Then add the meat. Fry until it loses its raw color, stirring frequently.
Step 4: Add the carrot, bell pepper, bay leaf, and allspice. Season with pepper and smoked sweet paprika. Pour water over everything (about halfway up the content). Mix well. Simmer on low heat until tender and thickened, which takes about 5-10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Step 5: Towards the end, add the tomato paste and season with salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.
Step 6: Serve on a plate.
