Ingredients for chocolate and peanut butter cookies (approximately 5-10 pieces):

  • Peanut butter 1 tablespoon (30 g)
  • Agave syrup or another 1 tablespoon (15 g)
  • Date 1 piece (5 g)
  • Rice flour 1 tablespoon (15 g)
  • Dark chocolate 65% 3 squares (15 g)
  • Salt

Preparation of chocolate and peanut butter cookies:

Step 1: Soak the date in a small dish with boiling water. Adjust the amount of water to cover the date. Leave for a few minutes, then rinse and drain off the excess water on a sieve.

Step 2: Put peanut butter and syrup in a bowl. Mix well.

Step 3: Finely chop the date and chocolate and add to the bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4: Then add rice flour and a pinch of salt. Stir and mash with a spoon until the ingredients are combined. If necessary, add a little water. Then knead the dough with your hands.

Step 5: With moistened hands, form small cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 10-15 minutes, depending on the size and desired degree of baking. Check occasionally to make sure they are not overbaking. After baking, let them cool without removing the cookies from the baking sheet.
