Ingredients for crispy roasted chickpeas:
- Canned chickpeas – just under 1 cup (150 g)
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon (10 g)
- Chili powder
- Smoked sweet paprika
- Garlic powder
- Oregano
- Curry powder
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation of crispy roasted chickpeas:

Step 1: In a bowl, mix the olive oil with a pinch of each spice: chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, curry powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 2: Add drained and patted-dry chickpeas. Mix thoroughly so all the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spiced oil.

Step 3: Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 30–40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the chickpeas are golden and crispy. Once done, turn off the oven and let them sit for 5 more minutes to dry out further for extra crunch.
