If using homemade broth, prepare it in advance – you can find the recipe for homemade broth on the blog. You may also use store-bought broth, warmed up beforehand.
Boil the pasta according to instructions. In the meantime, prepare the remaining ingredients.
Wash and dice the tomato (remove the tough, green core). Wash the mushrooms and slice them. Dice the ham. Peel and finely chop or crush the garlic.
Heat olive oil in a pan. Add garlic and ham and sauté for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the broth, chopped tomato, and mushrooms. Let simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After 5 minutes, add the crumbled quark and drained pasta. Stir well.
Transfer everything to an oven-safe dish or small baking dish. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until the bake thickens slightly.
Serve warm and enjoy!
