Ingredients for tofu cheese with tomato:
- Natural or smoked tofu 1 package (180 g)
- Tomato 1 medium piece (150 g)
- Lemon juice 2 teaspoons (6 g)
- Olive oil 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation of tofu cheese with tomato:
Step 1: Cut an “X” on top of the tomato and place it in a pot or bowl. Pour boiling water over it and blanch for 15-20 seconds.
Step 2: Peel the blanched tomato, cut into smaller pieces, and remove the green, hard parts from the center.
Step 3: Place the drained tofu in a bowl and mash with a fork. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix.
Step 4: Add the chopped tomato and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly.
Step 5: Transfer to a convenient container.
