Ingredients for toast with cheese and vegetables:
- Whole wheat toast bread 2 slices (60 g)
- Light yellow cheese 13-14% 1 piece or 2 slices (30 g)
- Red bell pepper 1 piece (15 g)
- Cherry tomatoes 1-2 pieces (15 g)
Preparation of toast with cheese and vegetables:
Step 1: Grate the cheese or cut it into small pieces. Wash, dry, and chop the bell pepper (remove inedible parts). Wash, dry, and slice the cherry tomatoes. Heat a dry pan over low heat. Place one slice of whole wheat toast bread on the pan. Evenly spread cheese, bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes on the slice.
Step 2: Cover and press down with the second slice of bread. Cook on the pan over very low heat until the bread is toasted and the cheese melts, approximately 3-5 minutes per side.
Step 3: Serve on a plate.
