Snickers balls are a very simple and quick-to-prepare healthy dessert made with dates, inspired by the popular Snickers bar…
When I was in the store recently and saw a Snickers bar, I immediately craved a healthy and quick snack with a similar, intensely nutty flavor. I didn’t have much time to shop, so I quickly grabbed peanut butter, dates and almonds. These ingredients were enough to create incredibly delicious balls that taste remarkably like Snickers.
Dates are an excellent source of natural sweetness, rich in fiber that aids digestion, and contain numerous vitamins and minerals such as potassium, magnesium and vitamin B6.
Peanut butter provides healthy fats, protein and vitamins E, niacin and magnesium, which support heart and brain health. Almonds, also rich in healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamin E and magnesium, can help lower cholesterol levels and support bone health. Thanks to these ingredients, Snickers Balls are not only tasty but also full of nutrients that positively impact health.
These healthy and nutritious fit sweets are no-bake and perfect for on-the-go. Additionally, they can be stored in the fridge for several days, which is a big plus besides their taste.
