Ingredients for red lentil cream soup:

  • Red lentils about 1/2 cup (100 g)
  • Onion 1 medium (100 g)
  • Olive oil 1 teaspoon (5 g)
  • Chilli
  • Curry
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Water

Step 1: Peel and finely chop the onion. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil, then add the onion. Sauté for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 2: Then add thoroughly rinsed lentils and cover everything with water in a 2:1 ratio (water:lentils). Mix and cook until soft, about 10-15 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add a little water or drain the excess just before blending.

Step 3: When the lentils are soft, blend everything with a hand blender. Taste and season with salt, pepper, chili, and curry to your liking. Mix well or blend again.
