Ingredients for a French omelette:
- Chicken eggs 3 pieces (180 g)
- Milk 2% 5 tablespoons (50 g)
- Clarified butter 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Salt
Preparation of a French omelette:
Step 1: Crack the eggs into a tall container. Pour in the milk and add a pinch of salt. Beat with a mixer or kitchen whisk until the ingredients are combined and the mixture has a uniform consistency.
Step 2: Melt and heat the butter in a non-stick frying pan (spread the butter over the entire surface of the pan). Pour in the egg mixture. Fry over medium heat, covered.
Step 3: After about 3-5 minutes, the mixture should have set (if it hasn’t, leave it on the heat for a moment longer). Once ready, fold the omelette in half.
Step 4: Transfer to a plate.
