Baked carp with apple tastes best right after preparation, so it’s best to eat it immediately after taking it out of the oven. This meal can even be prepared a day earlier and stored in the refrigerator, and baked just before eating.

Ingredients for baked carp with apple:

  • Carp 1 piece (100 g)
  • Apple 1 medium (150 g)
  • Olive oil 1 teaspoon (5 g)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Thyme

Step 1: Clean and dry the piece of fish. Wash, dry, and cut the apple into quarters (remove the seed nest). Cut each quarter into slices.

Step 2: In a small ovenproof dish, arrange a layer of apple slices.

Step 3: Then place the fish.

Step 4: Spread another layer of apple slices. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Cover with a lid or aluminum foil and place in an oven preheated to 180°C (356°F). Bake for about 25-30 minutes. After the indicated time, remove the cover and bake until browned, for another 20-25 minutes.
